Fritz H. Rudert, PhD
General Manager, FHR Consult

Dr. Fritz Rudert has more than 18 years of biopharma industry experience. He is currently General Manager of FHR Consult, a Munich-based business development and corporate strategy consultancy founded in 2003. FHR Consult offers a diversified range of expert and hands-on consulting support for international biotech, VC and pharmaceutical companies in the areas of strategy, management, partnering, licensing, financing and competitive intelligence. A particular focus is applied to all aspects of research, development and commercialization of biologics, like antibodies, and other targeted medicines. FHR Consult has worked with numerous international clients from Europe, North America and Japan on assignments ranging from strategic advice, licensing and partnering deals to business plans and financing support. Dr. Rudert has an international network of partners and is also an associate of EBD Group, supporting them in the areas of business development and partnering.

Prior to FHR Consult, Dr. Rudert held various positions in research and business development in a number of biotech companies. He headed research departments at Genesis Research and Development Corp. (Auckland, New Zealand), Morphosys AG (Martinsried, Germany) and Xerion Pharmaceuticals AG (Martinsried, Germany), and later became Director of Business Development and a member of the management team at Xerion, where he closed many deals with biotech and pharma companies and was instrumental in several financing rounds (totaling more that €30 million).

Dr. Rudert is a molecular biologist and geneticist by training (Albert-Ludwigs-University, Freiburg, Germany) and combines a broad scientific knowledge in research with an extensive hands-on experience in international business development and licensing. During his time in research, he published over 25 scientific papers and review articles, and is inventor on a number of patent applications and granted patents.
